III Corps Wagons
Posted on: 7/4/2017 9:00:26 PM
I have numerous questions and I know this is the place for the answers. Here goes
1. Did the wagons move up with Sickles and the two divisions on July 1?
2. Or did they remain at Emmitsburg with Burling and deTrobriand?
3. If they remained at Emmitsburg, did they accompany both brigades up the Emmitsburg Rd to Gettysburg July 2?
4. Or did they turn off and come up on the Taneytown Rd?
The march of the two brigades was slow, slow enough to sent Gen. Graham to find and move them along. There were numerous excuses including a wagon rutted road.
5. Who's wagons?
