Will there be a fall muster this year? I've missed the last 4 musters due to work.

There won't be an official MHO muster this year, but I was hoping a few die hards would get together unofficially and just do some battlefield exploring.

Larry, I saw Chris Army's rationale as to why the musters have basically ceased to exist and while I understand, am still saddened as I was a relative Gettysburg newbie when I started attending the musters. I only attended about 4 with the last in 2012 and then started travelling with work so I've missed the rest. I enjoyed meeting all the people I had only known from the board. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. And so knowledgeable as well. The guides were great and you could see their passion in that I could almost see the battle unfurl before me.

I hope that some type of "new" muster could materialize in the near future.

But I guess just like most things in this world, the old yearly muster just "ran it's course."

I also miss the Saturday night dinners at the inn. There were great speakers.
