...the Heavy Water plant at Vemork(Rjukan) was sabotaged in what became one of themost famous commando raids of WW2.





To quote a friend of mine from a few years back: 'Thank God the Americans sent Kirk Douglas to sort out Hitler's atomic bomb".

Be fair, at least Hollywood allowed him to play the character as a Norwegian,
We got that bloody U-571!!!.

Ps: Found out the reason he was allowed to play him as a Norwegian, it’s actually a British film by the Rank Organisation
