Guntown MS

For conspiracy theorists:

I was checking on the Battle of Brices Crossroads which I visited in April. The battle was a few miles NW of Guntown MS. The Smith family cemetery there contains the grave of a relative, John Wilkes Booth. Booth lived at Guntown after he escaped his pursuers and stayed with relatives in an upstairs room until his death. He was crippled and received no visitors. I'm not sure why they didn't know his date of death.

Believe it or not.

Uh oh, another conspiracy claim about a martyred president!? Gee, why do folks claim our leaders in Washington would stoop to murder and cover up? :-/
