U.S. command element moving to Poland
Posted on: 5/3/2017 3:16:59 PM
Apparently, the "Mission Command Element" of the U.S. 4th Division will now relocate from Baumholder, Germany to Poland. This is significant in that the 4th Division is the unit currently tasked with control of U.S. troops in Poland (Zagan and the Suwalki Gap) and other countries in east-central Europe. In other news, I read a U.S. Army Reserve combat support battalion (or parts of it, at least) was due to arrive in central Poland.

Cheers
