Name: John W. GammillRank: Private Company: C
I am not a relative, but I am doing a project on this particular veteran. He enlisted in 1864 and served until the CSA surrendered in 1865. He was born in Alabama and lived there until he was moved to the Beauvoir Veteran's Home where he lived until his death in his 70's in the 1920's. He was married to Maney Gammill and had one child named Jean Gammill.
