Sept & Oct 1864 -Participated in General Price's Missouri raid. 11 May 1865 -- Surrendered with Brig-Gen Meriwether Jefferson Thompson (M Jeff Thompson) (Swamp Fox of the Confederacy) near Chalk Bluff, Arkansas (Clay County, Arkansas). 5 JUN 1865 - Paroled at Jacksonport, Arkansas (Jackson County) He was 22 yrs old when paroled and was born in Tennessee.
