John Nathaniel Williamson, of Jackson Co, GA, enlisted on 03 Mar 1862, and mustered out on 09 Apr 1865 at Appomattox Court House, VA. He was wounded 30 Aug 1862 at Manasas. He married Frances Ann Jarret 03 Jan 1854, and they had 2 children: Benjamin L. Williamson and Fannie Lee Williamson. He married Virginia 'Jennie' Chalkley on 18 July 1882, and had 5 daughters: Dollie V Williamson, Ola Williamson Ramey, Beulah V Williamson Williams, Annie Cleo Williamson Lloyd, and Bessie Martine Williamson Ramey. John Nathaniel Williamson, and his wife Jennie are buried together in Trion, GA. John Nathaniel Williamson is the son of John Lesley Williamson and Caroline Shotwell Williamson, and he is the great grandson of two Revolutionary Soldiers, John Williamson, born in Ireland, and Nathaniel Camp, whose grandfather was born in Ireland.
