Ancestor Info
Name: James B RichardsonRank: Lieutenant Company: B

He served only for about 8 months. His name appears on a report of sick and wounded in General Hospital No. 4 at Richmond, Va. for the month of Oct. 1862. He was discharged on 28 Oct 1862 by a surgeon's certificate because of gunshot wound. He probably was wounded at Miller's Cornfield in the battle of Sharpsburg, Va. on 17 Sept where his regiment suffered a loss of 57% casualties. He returned home near Conyer's, Ga. to the care of his family. By the late 1870's, he moved them to Van Zandt County, Tx. (He was the Father-In-Law of Joel W. King mentioned elsewhere in this regiment)
