Hi Larry,

Again, great to have you posting 1 st hand accounts leading up to & beyond Gettysburg! Wow JEB had 10 to 15 K troopers under his command. You do wonder if this independant forray around the Union Army was the best use of such a massive group of Cavalry? You got to wonder if Lee could have used them better if they had acted in conjunction of the ANV main force!?

Pretty much anything Lee did different with his cavalry during the Gettysburg campaign would have been better.
Direct clear orders with timetables for Stuart. Someone to watch over Jones and Robertson and keep Lee better informed of AOP movements.
