Larry,

Interesting to see that the destruction of Iverson's command was not the simple blundering massacre that one might suppose.

There is a caricatured depiction of a mass of rebels being raked by volleys at point blank range by yankees who had been concealed behind a wall. A very one sided affair......but now we see the bluecoats had to contend with their own difficulties and were themselves subjected to some anxious moments as enemy fire hit their ranks, too.

Also we see how different Federal units vied for the credit and disputed the claims of others.
