I'm glad the Georgia boys were kind to the prisoners. North Georgia of course was especially pro-Union.

A lot of scope for discussion here.

It’s always intrigued me, the logistical challenge of capturing large numbers of enemy prisoners, and then trying to conduct a battle on enemy soil. What do you do with several thousand prisoners if you need to keep freedom of movement ? No wonder rebel generals were keen to prefer paroling them !
