WWII sailor question

A member of my Civil War group was asking me about finding more information about someone who had served in WWII. His name was Wallace Parsons. I THINK from MA. He was in the Seabees.

I have tried to do a bit of research online, but just can't seem to get anywhere. I don't feel like having to pay for looking up just one man.

There is a Wallace Keith Parsons from Milwaukee that served on Cassin after Pearl Harbor and later on Chevalier. He died during the war but I can find no details on that.

Also a Glen Wallace Parsons who was a EM3c(T) at the end of the war and a Wallace H. Parsons after the end of the war on the FDR.

I didn't get the impression that the Wallace Parsons my friend is looking for died in the war. Thanks for looking. I will have to check on this.

I got a hit on Google that might be helpful. https://www.history.navy.mil/content/dam/museums/Seabee/Cruisebooks/wwiicruisebooks/ncb-cruisebooks/46%20%20NCB%20%201942-45.pdf

Oh, my goodness! What a web site! I just sent it to my friend. I do not see Wallace Parsons name anywhere, but perhaps I missed it. This Civil War friend has a 95 year old friend who had served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam!!! He visits this gentleman twice a week. Guess he still is pretty sharp! Oh! He lied about his age when he enlisted in the service. He was l5.

Thank you so much!

Ginny
