How to Identify WWII US Army "items" with only a picture?
6/13/2021 10:56:54 PM
Hi.
Been going through my grandfather's WW2 stuff, and I wanted to know where I could go or how I could identify such things as the type of helmet he is wearing, the platoons hat, the Army ring he is wearing .
Is there a place that anyone knows of that I can do that?

He was a Tech Platoon Sergeant, 3rd Battalion 13th Infantry (that then combined with 8th). I'd like to buy authenticate gear that he would have been given.
Thanks,
Scott

3rd Battalion 13th Infantry have a Facebook page. I´m sure there will be some willing to help.
