Kaii might be interested in this show, its a dramatization of the invasion of Norway and the fleeing of the Norwegian Royal family. It centers on the relationship between Princess Matha and FDR. I enjoyed it immensely its on PBS and can be found on Amazon.

Hi Vince,
yes, I have seen it, and the reception in Norway was rather mixed - as is always the case with these type of shows that are "based on a true story"...

I found it quite entertaining and, I suppose, for most people the historical inaccuracies will not matter much. Although the show probably gives the Crown Princess Märtha too much credit for influencing FDR (she was probably not the one that gave him the idea for lend-lease, for instance, and she was not almost captured by German agents that landed in Long Island...), it does highlight her role for Norway during WW2 - which has often been overlooked.

Well worth a watch I think.
Glad you enjoyed it Vince.
