Let's share some of our favorite history websites:

I like the HOKC. History of the OK

They have a lot of history about the South West of the U.S. during the era of the Indian Wars.

For quick fingernail histories I like Ten Minute Histories. Quick light hearted videos with a humorous take on history.

https://www.youtube.com/@HistoryMatters

Task & Purpose. Young former soldiers take on military events and equipment. He is not expert but has an interesting take. His best videos are about equipment he actually used.

https://www.youtube.com/@Taskandpurpose

Periscope Films. A lot of older training films, mostly U.S. military.

https://www.youtube.com/@PeriscopeFilm

Dark Docs has interesting military history and equipment videos, though they tend to be a tad hyperbolic.

Wart Hog defense, covers current military events and equipment.

Also on u-tube, look for Mark Felton productions. Mostly little known facts. Sorry, my cat just jumped into my lap.

This is a site that doesn't have a lot of followers but has some excellent content.

Life on the Civil War Research Trail.

Each episode is about ten minutes. Usual covers one individual. Often a little known soldier. Excellent content.
