Definitely Canadian. The man leading the tour is Norm Christie. I don't know whether to call him a historian or journalist or just a TV guy. In his past he had been the Chief Records Officer of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

He has written a couple of books but is best known for war history specials about Canadians at war.

His videos follow a familiar pattern. He walks the battlegrounds where Canadians fought and uses old film to contrast the field of battle today with the way it looked in war time. And he visits war cemeteries in most videos.

The Great War Tour is a more recent one I think and the one that you linked us to is one of seven in the series. I haven't seen them so I'm glad that you included it in your post.
