Not a direct ancestor; brother of ggg-grandfather Asher Rogers, and son of Chauncey Rogers (Co B 25th CT). I have four letters written by him to Asher from NC and VA. Captured at Plymouth, NC and taken to Andersonville (one of the ''Plymouth Pilgrims''), later taken to Confederate prison in Florence, SC where he died. No wife, no issue.
