Ezekial Walcott
- Private
Ezekial Walcott was born near Monticello, Wayne County, Kentucky.
He enlisted in the 11th Ky. Cav. in 1861. Confederate records state that he died in the war, but further research shows he returned to Wayne County, Kentucky after the war, was married in 1866 and had two children. He is not shown in any records past 1880 which leads me to believe he died sometime near that year. In 1880, his wife was remarried and his children were living in the household of her 2nd husband.
Ezekial Walcott is thought to be related to David Walcott, Company D, 16th Tennessee Infantry. They were both from Wayne County, Ky.
Burial site of Ezekial Walcott is currently unknown.
