According to the history of Greene ME. David Richard Parker
of Greene ME was in the 29th regiment and died in Tyler Texas in 1864. I presume this would be at Ford Prison Camp but there
are no further details about his death. I do not find him on the prison roster however.

Cyrus B. Smith mustered on 07 Jan. 1864 at the age of 19 to Co E 29th Infantry Regiment Maine. At 19, he died of disease in Brashear, LA. March 03, 1864.
He originally enlisted into Co. A 28th Infantry regiment Maine along with his brother Ruben. They both served in the La. campaigns.
