Bloomfield Henry Sproul - Private
The son of Henry B. and Emily C. (Moody) Sproul of Nobleboro, Maine, he was born April 20, 1848 in Nobleboro. He died in Washington D. C. October 20, 1864 from wounds he received during the Battle of the Crater. He was 16 years old at the time of his death. He was buried in Washington D.C. but also has a stone erected in his memory next to his father in The Joshua Moody Cemetery in North Nobleboro, Maine. (Joshua and Jane (Benner) Moody of Nobleboro, Maine were his maternal grandparents.)

Samuel Carson Ross - Private
Enlisted as a private May 6, 1864 at age 15. Became a Confederate POW on July 30, 1864 at Petersburg, VA- incarcerated in Libby Prison for 6 months. Mustered out of Co. 'K' July 15, 1865. Would never speak about any of his war experiences. He, and later his widow (Frances Ellen (Thompson)Ross of Salem, NH, received a military pension. He died of a stroke in the Soldier's Home, Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1897 at age 47.
