A.G. Webb's older brother, William T. Webb, M.D., was a captain in Co D, 7th MS Info. Another brother, Henry W. Webb was killed in the battle of Murfreesboro. (Biographical and Historical Memoirs of Mississippi, Vol. II, Chicago: 1891, pages 1004-1005). A.G. Webb also served in Co D. In a 1921 Application for Pension, A.G. Webb states that he 'was shot through left arm & left leg.' His regimental commander was Hamilton Mayson; his company commander was Henry Pope.

Lt. Bethea was my great great grandfather. He was from S.C.where he graduated from the medical college of Charleston. he moved to franklin County Mississippi in 1859. Joined the 7th Mississippi Vols. at meadeville. He was 1st sgt. until Shiloh. He was a preacher and physician and spent most of his time in service tending to the body and soul of the men of the regiment. he came home sick after Shiloh and lived in meadeville and Summit MS where he retired as a pharmacist and 'supply preacher' for the Methoduist Conference. Andrew, along with several other family members joined Co G 7th Battn, Mississippi Infantry. Enlisting on 14 May 1862 at Williamsburg, Miss. He is 21 years old. He and his brother George were absent from their company as patients in the hospital. Their unit moved on and they joined another company. The remarks on their CMR is that they joined the Cavalry. I do not know if Andrew survived the war.

The are carried on Co. G's roster with the comment: they joined another company / Cavalry. George survived the war, dying on 10 April 1916 at Sumrall, Larmar Co Miss. I am not sure of what happend to his brother Andrew.
