1st Battalion Mississippi Marine Infantry
Company Unknown
Henry FrekerRank Unknown
I''m not sure but I think that i''s possible that my gggrandfather served in this unit. I have his obituary which says that he serve in a Missouri Unit and for other reasons I think it may have been this one. I have done research on this Brigade and can''t seem to find a roster. I''ve checked the NATA and they do have a Henry Freker but he was discharced due to TB and my ancestor''s obituary is from 1917. I don''t think a person with TB who was discharged in 1862 could have lived to be 81 yrs old. Not in those days. Any thing any one can fill in for me about this brigade I would love to hear from you

Thanks Kathleen ''FReker'' Garland
