Anton Lips/Lipps was a saddletree maker from St. Louis, MO. He was an orderly for Maj. William(s) and was sent to Gen. Grierson's Hdqtrs. and Gen. Upton's Hdqtrs. He was mustered out May 8, 1865. He was born in Monswiller, Alsace, France in 1842 and came to the U.S. with his family in Dec. 1853 on the Heidleberg to New Orleans.

John Harrow b. 24 Jul 1840 in Greenbrier Virginia. He lived in Ray County Missouri on 22 Aug 1862, when he enlisted into Company F of the 10th Missouri Cavalry. In his pension packet there is a statement from a fellow soldier, James M Garvin(?). James states that John was injured when he was thrown from his horse in Corinth, Mississippi and he was sick for two or three months. He went to the hospital and was 'salivated' and lost all of his teeth. John was in the hospital for some 4 or 5 months and returned to his regiment. John was discharged 22 Jun 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee.
