John Coughlin - Lt. Colonel |

John Coughlin was born in 1837 in Williamstown, Vermont. He was appointed Lieutenant Colonel of the 10th New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry in September of 1862. Lt.Col. Coughlin fought bravely at Swifts Creek in Virginia. He mustered out with the regiment in June of 1865. Because of his actions at Swifts Creek, on May 9, 1864, Coughlin was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor by President S. Grover Cleveland on August 31, 1893. Coughlin passed away on May 27, 1912 in Virginia. He was interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

James Brady - Private |

Private Brady was born in 1842 in Boston, Massachusetts. On April 6, 1865, Private Brady was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions at the Battle of Chaffin's Farm. He died on October 7, 1904 in New Hampshire. He is buried at the Old Pine Grove Cemetery in Raymond, New Hampshire.
