Milton Fish Sweet - Corporal   
Milton F. Sweet, age 16, enlisted in Fortsville, village of Moreau on September 26, 1863. He served for the duration of the war, and was only slightly wounded twice during the Spotsylania campaign; in the head on May 10, 1864 during Upton's attack, and on the knee during the battle of the Angle on May 12, 1864. He moved out to Wright County Minnesota with his mother after the war. Here he married (1) Florence Larrey, and (2nd) Mary Ericsson the latter bore him four children. He died in 1926.
