Thomas A. Nooning - 2nd Lieutenant

I would love to find a book that specifically relates to my great grandfather's part of the battle of Gettysburg. He was discharged at or near Alexandria, Va on June 5, 1865, according to a letter from the Department of the Interior dated June 10, 1889. He is listed as a sergeant as well as a 2nd lieutenant depending on where you look.
Thank you, Nikki Gillespie
