Enlisted Aug.18,1862 at the age of 21 and did full service until wounded in teh left leg at Gettysburg, on July 1, 1863. He was treated at St. John's College Hospital at Annapolis, Md., until his wound healed. Rejoined his regiment at Lookout Valley, Tenn until wounded again ay Kennesaw Mountain. He was mustered out June 10, 1865, at Dug Gap,Ga.; with the Company.

Greetings, My cw ancestors came from Schoharie County, NY They served in the 134th NY Reg. Vols. Co. D & E. Jeremiah H. Reed served in the 7th NY HA Co. F. Ruben Cain is also a cw ancestor served in the 134th as well. Became an active member in GAR Post#496 Moses Tompkins Middelburgh,NY I am a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp 24 Gen. Alfred Pleasonton and hold the office as Senior Vice Cmndr. East Bay, CA I portray a Lt. Col. Staff officer in the reenacting and Living History community. I served in the U.S. Navy and was Honorably Discharged March 16, 1979. I was recently appointed by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Commission. I''m also a member of the American Legion Post #1000 and NRA. Corky Reed Keeping Our Boys in Blue Remembered
