Daniel Worden of Lysander Onondaga county NY. He was said to be born in Delaware County NY. Lived in Van Buren then Lysander. Served in the 185th late 1864 and 1865 under Gustavus Sniper through to Appamattox. Widow was Mary Williams Worden. Have pension apps. as well as hers.

Seth Gardner was my paternal great great grandfather. His last battle of the Civil War was The victorious Battle of Five Forks,that led General Lee to surrender at Appomattox a week later.He stated he was in a 'three day battle near Southside Railroad', at Five Forks ,Va. He also was present when General Lee surrendered.He mustered out on May 30th 1865 with the rest of Company C ,near Washington D.C.
