George Hofacker - Unknown
I believe the George in the 65th Ohio could be a relative of mine, but family history has a George Hofacker living in PA, not OH. He died during the war. Please feel free to contact me if you have any information.

Randolph Rosenberger - Private
Randolph Rosenberger was from Battsville, Ohio, which I believe is no longer a town because I cannot find it. He was married to a woman by the name of Sarah. The day before he died he wrote a letter to his wife. He was killed at the battle of Spring Hill, Tennessee, on November 29' 1864. A photograph of him and the letter to his wife is in the Carter House museum in Frankiin, Tennessee. Randolph was 28 years old at his death.
