This was my Gr.Gr. Grandfather....He was captured in The Second Battle of Winchester in June, 1863 and taken to Libby Prison in Richmond, Va. where he and 108 other prisoners dug a secret tunnel and escaped in February, 1864....I wrote a book about my grandfather in 2002 with his military history, family genealogy and his true story of his escape from Libby Prison.....
