John Charles Weisbrod - Private
John Charles WEISBROD was enlisted in Company G of the 183rd Infantry Regiment Ohio. John was my great great grandfather. At some point after the American Civil War, he came to Canada and settled in Aylmer, ON where he went on to become mayor until his passing in 1883.

John Charles was married to Marie Elisabeth SCHWAB. They immigrated to the United States from Bern, Switzterland between 1833 and 1854.
