My G Grandfather Louis Scheetz came from Germany and at age 21 joined the 5th Regiment Co. L of the Pennsylvania Volunteers. I have a full color Lithograph Roster of the L Company,listing all the battles and campaigns that they participated in. All the oficers were German with war experiance in Europe. Most of the troops were also German. Louis Scheetz was discahrged in Virgina in 1865, and we have the discharge and widows pension papers. Rick
