I'm looking for any information on John E. Hall of Co.G of the 21st S.C. Infantry. He enlisted in summer of 1862 in Charleston, S.C. and stated that his commanding officer was Capt.R.W.Reddy. This would put him in the Williams Guards of Hobgoods Brigade. He ended up married to Annie Spicer in Louisa, Virginia in 1866. I haven't been able to find out anything on his war record on any roster, however, I have his Confederate pension record from the state of Virginia and his marriage and death records also. He was born in the Darlington area of John Hall and Martha Lewis and he did state that his two closest comrades in Co.G were James Booth and James Hunter. He also mentions Col.Graham and Lt.Col.Dargan as the 21st S.C. commanding officers. If anyone has any information on him I would be very appreciative because he is my great, great, grandfather and I have no other information on him previous to his settlement in Virginia. Thanks in advance for any leads.
