My 3rd g-granduncle. Born in N.C. about 1827. Found on 1850 census Madison County Tennessee with his brother & my 3rd g-grandfather Moody Young. Robert moved to Texas after 1850 & served in the 9th Brigade Beat 2 Home Guard of Lamar County TX. during the war. Very little is known about this unit. Died in June 1909 in Nolan County Texas.
