Served in 104th N.Y. 1st brigade,2nd division, 1st Corps at Gettysburg.





18 years old.

Enlisted on 10/22/1861 at Geneseo, NY as a Private.

On 10/22/1861 he mustered into "A" Co. NY 104th Infantry
He Re-enlisted on 1/4/1864
He was discharged for wounds on 4/30/1865 at Buffalo, NY


He was listed as:
Wounded 8/30/1862 2nd Bull Run, VA
Wounded 7/29/1864 (place not stated)


Promotions:
Sergt 7/1/1864

Hi Larry,

In his picture he seems like a serious young man, but then going off to a horrific war is serious stuff!?

I hope his wounds weren't to serious? (after his 1st wound, he did re-inlist) that speaks volumes about his bravery!
