Interesting article referring to which Infantry group fired the 1st shot at Gettysburg? But I can't understand why Cavalry Units don't count? I thought that men under John Buford's troops fired the 1st shots? Also Gettysburg was such a large battle area, who can actually say who fired the 1st shots?? And is it really that important?
Just me ranting, & raving!
Thanks, & cheers,
