18th Alabama Infantry (CSA)
Ancestor Info
Name: Hillary Bester CrouchRank: Private Company: E

Hillary Bester Crouch was transferred out the 11th MS InF. Co. E due to injury at 7 pines and into the 18th AL, which I thought was a Invalid Corps, P. A. C. S., but I have found little information on this units activities during the war. Was Co E doing double duty, both as a fighting unit as well aiding the wounded? Any help will be greatly appreciated. JC ON THE CAPE.
