Jonathan Haney, b. 4 June 1845, Coffee Co., Tennessee, was the g-grandfather of my wife Davy Jean (Anderson) Denison. (NOTE: Jonathan Haney initially joined for duty and enrolled July 26, 1861, for 12 months. He served with 7th Arkansas Infantry Regiment, raised by COL Robert G. Shaver, and was, reportedly wounded during the fighting April 6-7, 1862 at Shiloh. He was discharged 26 July 1862 'by reason of being under 18 years of age.' Later, he enlisted with and served with 'Marmaduke's Cavalry Command' until he was paroled in June 1865.)
