Ancestor Info
Name: Thomas Young HarrisRank: Private Company: F

My great grandfather was a physician, pvt Thomas Young Harris, and was in the first of SC volunteers, 14th regiment. He was wounded at Gettysburg and captured July 4, 1863. He was carried to David's Island, New York harbor, Decamp General hospital. I have not been able to find out how badly he was hurt, or where he went from there. I don't know where he went as a POW. Can you help me, Please?
