Edward Charles Davis

Private Davis was born on August 29, 1844 in Burlington, New Jersey. He enlisted on September 6, 1864. It was either on January 2 or 3 in 1865 that Davis was injured in battle. He was discharged at Saint Louis, Missouri on August 4, 1865. Private Davis died on March 31, 1923 in Burlington, New Jersey and was buried on April 4, 1923 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington. He was survived by his four children. His wife had died 16 days before he did.
