Amos O. Brown served in the 58th Ohio Volunteer Infantry from Nov. 14, 1861 through Jan. 13, 1865. Amos was born and raised in Hocking County, Ohio and is buried at Mt. Tabor cemetery near Logan, Ohio. His specialty has been listed as 'musician' in the national archives.
