103rd Ohio Infantry

He is my great great grandfather. He was only 15 years old when he began serving in the 103rd Ohio Infantry. He later relocated to Chicago, married, and had a daughter, Mary Frances Cunningham Farrell, who had two daughters, Lillian and Marie. Lillian had a son, Mike O'Connor, and two daughters, Joan O'Connor and Nancy O'Connor Miller. Marie had two daughters, Patricia Nicholas Gentleman and Mary Frances Nicholas Helsdingen. Mary Frances is my mother.

Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio. Published in 1886. Adam Beckley - enlisted as a Private on 28 July 1862 at the age of 21. Enlisted in company G, 103rd Infantry Regiment ohio on 16 Sept 1862. Mustered out on 12 June 1865 in Raleigh, NC

Enlisted on 11 Aug 1862 as a Private. Promoted to Full Corporal on 12 Jan 1863. Promoted to Full Commissary Sergeant on 30 Jun 1863. Promoted to Full ? on 31 Oct 1863. Mustered out on 12 Jun 1865 at Raleigh, NC.

Enlisted on 2 Mar 1864 at age 39. Transferred out on 12 Jun 1865 to 183rd Ohio Infantry, Co. E.
