'Another Veteran Dead'----
John More, one of the aged resident s of Ninnescah township, died Friday, March 11, 1904, at the home of his nephew, A.D. More, with whom he had made his home for a number of years. His death came very unexpectedly and without a moment's warning.'----
'Deceased was born August 22, 1823, in Essex County, N.Y., and was therefore in his 81st year, or beyond the ordinary allotted time for man to live on earth. He was a soldier in the Civil War, being a member of Co. G, 84th Penn. Vol. Inf. He had never married, and becoming somewhat feeble by reason of his great age, he had made his home with his nephew, A. D. More, the past six years.'
