Simon Utley also had a brother John in Co. F of the 207th. Simon was my great-grandfather. He lived out his life in Springfield, Missouri, where he was caretaker at the Civil War cemetery there for a time.
I have a printed unit certificate for the 207th, company F, showing the roster at the time of formation.

Enlisted on 9/12/1864 as a Captain. On 9/12/1864 he was commissioned into 'G' Co. PA 207th Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 5/13/1865 at Alexandria, VA. He was wounded on 4/2/1865 at Petersburg, VA during the battle at Fort Stedman. He received a promotion by Brevet to Major on 4/2/1865.

The 207th, which was part of the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 9th Corps of the Army of the Potomac was organized at Camp Curtin, Harrisburg, PA on 9/8/1864.
