My Great-Grandfather enlisted 17 June 1861 in Monroe Co., AR. where he and my G-Grandmother lived. They had been married a year earlier, on 17 June 1860. He also served in Co. F, 15th (Josey's) Arkansas Inf. Regt. After the war, he moved north to Boone County, AR. In 1880 he lived in Jefferson Township, Boone County, Arkansas. He died on Feb. 14, 1918. His wife, Emerine, died on Dec. 20, 1919. Both are burried in Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, Boone Co., Arkansas.

Enlisted 9 Jun 1862 at Rockport, AR. Died 2 Oct 1862 at Little Rock, AR.age 24. Was married to Nancy Bell. No children.Brothers Joshua and John N. died within months of his death.

James is from Drew, Ark. He is the husband of my 2nd Cousin 4 x removed. He was born 24 Sept. 1821. Joined 20 July 1862 Co K. Hawthorn's Regt. Arkansas Infantry. He is missing in battle on 4 July 1863 at Helena. This Regt. is also known as Johnson's, Polk's and Cocke's Regt Ark. Infantry.
