Enlisted as a Private on 1 December 1863 at the age of 18. Deserted on 15 March 1865 at Petersburg, VA.

Enlisted as a Private on 3 December 1861 at the age of 18. Wounded at Cold Harbor, VA on about 5 June 1864. Died from wounds on 26 June 1864 at Richmond, VA.

Enlisted as a Private on 3 December 1861 at the age of 23. Promoted to 3rd Corporal. Transferred to the Navy on 1 May 1864.

Transferred from Company H, 8th Florida Infantry Regiment on 25 January 1865. Deserted on about 8 March 1865.

Enlisted as a Lieutenant 3rd Class on 15 August 1861 Commission in Company C, 10th Infantry Regiment Florida on 15 August 1861. Discharged Company C, 10th Infantry Regiment Florida on 12 May 1862 Oath Allegiance on 22 May 1865 at Madison, FL.

James was from Columbia Co. Florida. He enlisted at age 38 in Co C 1st Special Fl. Battalion at Fernandina, on 1 March 1862. Enlisted by Capt. Buckman. In Nov. 1862 he is stationed at Alum Bluff, Florida. In July of 1863 he is on guard duty at Fort Gadsten,Fl. On 3 May 1864 he is appointed 4th Corporal. In August 1864 he is on detached duty as a company cook. In Oct. 1864 he is admitted to the hospital at Howard Grove, Va., Ubknown dx. Dec. 1864 promoted to 3rd Corporal and to 2nd Corporal in Feb. 1865.

need any and all info on him......would love a picture..... He died in the Confederate Old Soldiers home in Atlanta and buried in the CSA cemetary in Marietta,Ga.

My Great Great Grandfather. He also served in the Seminole war. He was born in Stark, Bradford County, Florida. His unit was stationed in Tennessee where he met my Great Great Grandmother and they got married after the war was over.

My 2nd great grandfather.

Transferred from Company B, 2nd Infantry Regiment Florida on 31 October 1864. Captured at Burkeville, VA on 6 April 1865. Sent to Point Lookout, MD on 13 April 1865. Released on 16 June 1865 after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

Little Berry Andrew Cater Anderson enlisted first as a private in 2nd Batt. Fl. Infantry which was later merged with the 10th Infantry. He was wounded and returned home with minnie balls in his lung. He died in 1870, Madison Co.,Fl.of pneumonia. His brother was Jeremiah Wells Anderson who served in 5th Fl. Inf. Co.D. and was mortally wounded at Sharpsburg ( Antietam).He was the son of Henry Anderson and Alice Wells of Brooks Co.,Ga. He was married to Matilda Walker, d/o Solomon Walker of Lowndes Co.,Ga.He is buried with his wife at the Old Walker Cemetery, Lamont,Fl.

John I. Green was the son of Samuel S. Green. He enlisted with and went off to war with his father. John came home to Clay County Florida twice during his enlistment, to 'help with the crops'. He was killed in the Battle of Petersburg.

Wounded at Battle of Cold Harbor, Va. 06-09-1864 died at Jackson Hospital in Richmond 06-18-1864. Buried in Hollywood Cemetary, Richmond, Va.

Daniel C Crawford was wounded at Petersburg receiving a shrapnel wound to the right leg, including fragments lodged in the joint and a gunshot wound to the left arm between the wrist and the elbow. Promoted to Sgt of Litter Bearers after wound to forearm (https://archive.org/details/soldiersofflorid00flor. Pg. 233) He died on August 27th, 1902 and was disabled by his wounds until his death.
