Hannah remarried to George Washington Current in Indiana and Illinois. Had 3 Parke CO relatives in the war: b/law Geo Hutzel and his son Sam'l Hutzel, brother Henry T. Martin. Also his father William Martin was vet of War of 1812.

Hezekiah Pray is my 2nd great grand uncle. He was born 1842 in Indiana; died March 1, 1880 in Decatur Co., Iowa. Buried Young Cemetery, Decatur Co., Iowa.

Joseph Smith is my 2nd great grandfather. He was born 1838 in Vigo County, Indiana; died February 5, 1876. Wounded May 12,1863 at Raymond, Mississippi. Attacked with consumption at Vicksburg, Mississippi on July 20, 1863. Wound never healed and he was never well again.

James Townsend was killed in action on June 25, 1863 while assaulting a confederate position at Vicksburg. He is buried in the Vicksburg National Cemetary. He was the brother of my great-great grandmother
