AKA Sid Cook. He is my ggg-grandfather. He was married to Nancy Fraley and they had two children, Fletcher who died as a child and Elizabeth Cook (my gg-grandmother) who married Josiah Greer. Sid enlisted in the Confederate army in September of 1862 and deserted in October 1862. By Spring 1863 he created a group of Confederate Partisan Rangers also known as guerrillas.
