Mortally wounded at Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga, Tennessee. (24 Nov. 1863 between 1130 am and Noon) Sent to hospital by train to Marietta, Georgia. He died 2 days later and in buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
Joseph is my GG grandfather.
